FAQ - BROW LAMINATION

WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?

Brow Lamination is a technique that lifts, smooths and straightens the brow hairs, combined with a tint, to create a fuller looking brow using your own brow hairs.

IS THERE DOWNTIME WITH BROW LAMINATION?

None whatsoever but you can't get them wet for 24 hours and we recommend a nourishing oil like castor or coconut oil be applied nightly. Brush the brow hairs upwards every day with the provided mascara wand.

IS BROW LAMINATION RIGHT FOR ME?

Brow Lamination is safe for most but is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. While it is not harmful to mom or baby, the hormonal effects of pregnancy can affect the structure of the brow hairs and thereby affect the results.

If you are concerned about any allergies, a patch test is available and must be performed at least 24 hours before your appointment.

CLIENT AFTERCARE FOR BROW LAMINATION?

For the first 24 hours:

Do not wet your brows.
Do not rub the brows vigorously.
Do not apply any oil or cream-based products over the brow area.
Do not make use of a sauna or facial steamer.
Do not swim.

After 24 hours you can continue to wash your face as normal and comb your brows upwards daily using your mascara brush. It is essential to apply a nourishing oil on your brows daily (coconut oil, caster oil, serum). Try to avoid sleeping on your face. The use of any chemical infused product (i.e. toner) will affect the lamination.

HOW LONG DOES BROW LAMINATION TAKE?

Approximately an hour, a bit more with mapping, shaping and tinting.

HOW LONG DOES BROW LAMINATION LAST?

With proper aftercare, Brow Lamination lasts 4-6 weeks. You must wait at least 4 weeks before touch ups for the health of the brow hairs.
